Brazilians/Hollywoods with a difference

Because we are trained & experienced in intimate hair removal & use the natural product of sugar, we feel we can do a better treatment than almost any other salon!   We do not use really hot products or any wax, just plain old sugar, & a clever technique “based” on an ancient method.  Experience a totally different service to any other salon! Bush Balm is for where your bush or part of your bush, once was

This product called “Bush Balm” from Outback Organics, is a fragrance-free lotion applied immediately after hair removal to help reduce any redness and soothe irritation, if any! This creamy, intensely moisturising balm is great for men and women. It quickly calms sensitive skin. Bush Balm contains cucumber and aloe vera to calm and cool, plus frankincense extract to take away any sting, if any at all. It is also great for the face and underarms, Bush Balm is receiving rave reviews from many people, our clients love it. We sell this size bottle of 100ml for £10. (rrp £11.99). Apparently 2 very well known department stores wanted to stock Outback Organics but we are glad they said NO, and kept it for salons only!

Discounts and reward policy

We have an excellent reward policy where you will receive £5 off when you refer a friend. A 10% discount for most treatments, is given to Students on Mondays to Fridays before 4pm.

Sugarflick Specialise in Brazilians, Hollywoods, Boyzilians. Sugarflick use a product of sugar, water & lemon to remove body hair. We specialise in intimate hair removal and offer a service not offered anywhere else in Southampton, ie we specialise in male hair removal and our techniques/methods are different from anything else you may have experienced.

Very clean & bright room

Cleanliness is paramount. We always wear gloves, we don’t double dip and we show all our qualifications and insurance on our walls for your peace of mind.  Displaying qualifications & insurance is standard policy for any salon/practice.

Please read our 3 years plus of feedback!  Mens choice, as we are not a typical salon environment.  We feel we are one of the best practices in the UK for male & female intimate hair removal.

We will be running in house training in 2012. Please note that all new BSC treatments require a £20 deposit to be paid on line and cleared before the appointment, no email, no deposit, then no treatment!

Hey Ladies! What is a proper Brazilian?

Are you being ripped off ? pardon the pun, but some female clients who have come to us for Brazilians have been shocked to find out exactly what it is! WARNING – We do a proper brazilian. Here you will experience a completely different service. We cannot be compared to any other salon because no other salon removes hair the way we do. We are completely unique in how we do our treatments. You will not have to go home & finish the job yourself!

We can give you a smoother finish, we can get those “tiny ones” out!  For a true Brazilian or Hollywood, we are your choice, and it takes as long as it takes!  The first time always takes longer, especially if you have have been in the habit of picking up a razor! With regular treatments it can then take as little as 20 minutes.  We give you an hour for your first appointment so we do not have to rush you or diminish your treatment in any way, or keep the person after you waiting.

The second treatment is nearly always less (ie if you ditch the bic) & is also cheaper, keep coming back then you pay less, thats our reward price wise!

We take our time and work with you, the client, at your pace. Some people are very nervous, some have had horrific experiences and been put off for life but when they come to Sugarflick they are extremely surprised .

We are appointment only. Please speak to Emma or Fee regarding female intimate hair removal.  Please speak to Fee regarding BSC or any other male treatments.  You will be speaking to someone who understands fully that you are an individual. Plenty of time is allocated for your treatment, we are all individuals and we treat you like so. We only rip out your hair we will not rip you off!  Hayley will be with us soon to help with ladies’ legs, basic bikinis and underarms.

Male clients – ask for Fee

Male Hair Removal is our forte using sugar. We focus on just the one service of sugaring, so we feel we are brilliant at it. For male torso treatments, we blend in areas such as tops of arms & where the lower back meets your bottom, ever seen a straight line of hair! it does not look natural, but we can make it look so! Sugarflick give a very high standard of service to all of their clients and use only the best products.

IMPORTANT – you should not let your treated body part be in the sun 24 hours BEFORE or AFTER, including sunbeds. Don’t leave it til the last minute ie 2 days before a holiday, try it out first especially if a shaver or you like the clippers!

Sugarflick Southampton are not in an intimidating environment of any sort. Clients choose us after they read our feedback or if their friends have been in, remember you will receive £5 off when you recommend your friend.

Our booking service is totally confidential and you do not have to brave a large group of staff when you visit us! After your first appointment you can book by text or email, however, please note telephone bookings always take priority.

You will not experience difficulties parking. We email you parking advice before you come in & in some areas near by its free for 2 hours !  Of late we now have in Bedford Place, a free 10 minute parking allocation, so you can nip in to make an appointment.

Sugarflick sugaring is aimed at clients who are allergic to wax.  Some clients have found some waxing too painful, suffered dry, flaky skin after hot wax treatments or were not happy with other services or maybe not felt comfortable.   Again, please see our feedback and read all about our clients’ experiences.

Male and Female hair removal only, no massage, facials, eyelash tinting or haircuts etc, just hair removal.  We will always recommend other services if we cannot accommodate you, please ask.

Remember, Sugarflick are strictly appointment only. We do get cancellations and hold a waiting list.

Please note about 6 weeks notice is usually needed for Saturdays and anything after 3pm.

Time taken is dictated by:- medication, previous methods of hair removal, (please ditch the epilator) skin & hair type, hair length & much more. Please see our why sugarflick .

Serious bookings only please. We do not delete any voicemails, texts or emails. Inappropriate behaviour by text, phone calls or email will be reported to the police.  We charge half the rate of the treatment should you miss your appointment or not turn up.

Opening Hours

Mondays to Saturdays, late appointments are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

Please note the evening & Saturday appointments go quickly.

We offer early appointments in the spring/summer months.

Hayley will be in from 8am on Mondays and Thursdays from mid April.

What is Sugaring

Sugaring, Persian Waxing or Sugarwax, are just some of the names given to this Ancient Art of Hair Removal.  Similar to waxing in its method, the product used is water soluble and therefore sticks more to the hair than the skin so it is less painful.  We use talc on your skin before we apply the sugar to protect your skin. The most important advantage is that sugaring extracts the hair in it’s natural direction of growth and does so when the hair is still in the early growth stage.  Hair breakage, irritation and ingrowing hairs are a frequent factor when using other methods.  With sugaring the end result is smoother, beautiful skin.

Other salons or Sugarflick?

Your choice but we can honestly say that most of our clients, especially male clients who have tried both, state they prefer Sugarflick sugaring. Remember why sugaring is so great…
